Mustaches vs. Cancer: Week 4

I'm starting to suffer from mustache envy

This morning started out like the last few Mondays. A quick shave and a snapshot of a self portrait to upload to Mustaches vs. Cancer. Comparing it to last week's, I didn't notice much of a change. I guess that's to be expected.

But then I flip on the TV or the web and see a bit of Magnum PI or any old Burt Reynolds flick (after the Longest Yard) and I sink. Will I ever have such upper-lip majesty? Is eight weeks long enough to get there if I do? If not, do I have the sheer strength of will to continue nurturing this thing until I am worthy of a TV detective drama or cross-country film romp?

All I know is, I have to make it to November 29th. That is when we tally the donations and try to make a real difference in this world. Yes, we're having fun with this, but make no mistake, this is for a very, very good cause.

Give what you can, no amount is too small. The money you donate on my behalf will go towards cancer research at the Pediatric Department of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
