A look at the 2009 Pediatric Prom.
First I want to thank everyone who has given to the Mustaches vs Cancer so far. your generosity will help the children who need it most. It has also made me feel better about all of the Tom Selleck jokes that have been tossed my way.
This week, I'd like to share another positive aspect of the care given at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's Department of Pediatrics. It's called the Pediatric Prom where patients join family, friends and MSKCC staff to celebrate life.
Like any great prom, it was a night of glitter, music, dancing, and magic. But for these children, a night like this means so much more. Check out the video below for special coverage from CBS news and to hear their touching stories.
