My Trip to Key West

I did have one minor problem. Minor only because I had a backup plan. One evening I went to the front desk and asked for a wake-up call to room 140 at 7:15 the next morning. It was the day I was going to see the dolphins swim. However, my phone rang incessantly at 1:40 in the morning. Waking me and making it difficult to fall back to sleep. I finally fell back to sleep about an hour or so later. The phone rang again. Just once this time. At 6:15.

Luckily I had set the alarm clock for 7:15 so I was able to get up on time. So, lesson learned. Always have a backup plan for all situations.
My first night found me at the poolside bar where I got my first taste of the friendly service here. I never made it into town that night because I was tired from flying and it was getting late. My plans were to simply kick back on a beach or by the pool for a few days. I would read or write or just sleep. When I woke up the next morning, I was sick as a dog. Severe cold. So I tried to just sit by the pool and recuperate.
