Despite efforts to introduce hybrids of all types to America, we are still very much addicted to oil. Sure we all bitched and moaned and conserved while $4.00 gas was haunting our vacation budgets, but now what?
Gas prices of late have begun to settle to below pre-summer-insanity—as is the norm each year. However, we should avoid going back to our mindless, guzzling ways—as is also the norm each year.
If you just cannot kick your oil addiction completely, we can at least help you get your fix for cheap and give you tips on how to make it last.
We came across this article from Budget Travel Magazine which lists some websites that can help you find the cheapest gas in your area. Plus there are tips on how to get the most out of each tank.
Published during the early price surge in May, the tips here are always valuable.
